Happy CNY from MET Kota Kinabalu !

Hi Again! ME Team KK again ^^

We were at Lion and Dragon Dance Festival held at Padang Merdeka last weekend. It was exciting as there were many people to sample and the event itself was really fun! Lion and Dragon Dance Festival are performances from world champion lion and dragon dance troupes in conjunction of Chinese New Year.

We sampled Red Bull to the performers, organizers, sponsors and media. We gave out Redbull angpau packets too!

Afterwards we rushed over to UMS as we have another event to attend which is Pesta Angpau. The day before that, we also attended the rehearsal in which we sampled the performers who are tired from dancing all day long!

It was a really tiring Saturday and we have lots of fun meeting many people from all walks of life.

M.E's at Malaysia Dream girls audition!

Anyong Haseyo!...tats hello in korean ;)

Its me (tara) & jaz on duty today..oh and not forgetting new york as well.

Location for today is Impiana Hotel KLCC, and the girls auditioning are the lucky ones to be energized by the mobile energizers...yeay!

and no i'm not there to audition

Arriving at the location we were very impressed by the scene that greeted us..nothing but girls,girls and more girls everywhere! We caught a glimpse or two of guys but they were the organizers or photographers. Other than that...just girls. And this girls are not your average, simple girls, these are girls with style, flair and personality.

I bet thousands of guys would just lurve to switch places with us in a heartbeat!

oh, how any guy would love to be in our shoes that day..

Ok ok enough of staring around and time to get to work. With Redbull loaded bags, we began our journey into the Land Of The Beautiful (hehe)

We sampled the organizers,

the photographers,

and of course, the girls auditioning

Suddenly, one of the organizers asked us if we would like to sample the judges (obviously we said YES) and guess who the judges were?!

Drumroll please...

Hahah...besides that we also sampled some guys who came along with their girlfriends to give moral support..awww how sweet!

We had loads of fun energizing everyone today, we got to know most of the girls as they shared their funny auditioning stories with us...so it was abit sad when the time came for us to say goodbye. Waving goodbye with New York we made a move and headed back to the office, knowing we had done our duty of energizing and educating them on Redbull.

Penang ME - Julie and Wennie on Duty 10 Jan 2009

Heeya!! Julie and Wennie on duty today. The weather is so windy today. Cheer up!! Cuttie Terry and Red Bull are here..

Our first destination was the Sunshine Square’s loading bay. There was a long queue of lorries waiting to unload their stock to Sunshine. Wow.. here we can imagine how good Sunshine’s business is =).. We went to one lorry to another lorry to wake and cheer the driver up with Red Bull Bottle in this hot sunny afternoon. Some of them told us that they have been waiting for their turn since this morning and now the time is 3.30pm. Salute their hard-working attitude and patient. They were thankful to have us there (Red Bull) to energize them.

The next destination was the taxi stand in front of Sunshine Square. We managed to sample the taxi drivers. They told us their business is not good today because we won’t be able to meet them there if they have calls. Hey guys.. Red Bull is here to cheer you up and to give extra energy to work longer. They even asked us to take photos of them.. Cheese..!! Now we know how important Red Bull is to them especially in this economic recession when everybody needs to work harder and longer hours.

Hehe.. next destination.. we got lost after Sunway Tunas. Sorry Miss Ng! We missed out Bukit Gedong’s shop offices but we found some shop lots at Jalan Mayang Pasir. We sampled stalls and shops owner there. Then, we discovered a mini evening market nearby. The hawkers were so happy to see us and our cute Terry. Haha.. they were tired after a day work! And here’s a can of Red Bull Less Sugar to cheer them up!!

KK December Events

Hi again from ME Team Kota Kinabalu! We have been so busy these past weeks so we are sorry for dissapearing on you! KK was packed with major events this December and we were there!

On the 12^th and 13^th of December, we headed to the most anticipated water sports in Sabah itself, the Sabah World Cup Powerboat Race 2008. We were so excited! The ME on duty was Charlotte and Gwen =)

Even in hot weather ( it was sooooooo hot T_T ) the people working at the event (the police force, the volunteers and the crowd) had given us such great support that it helped to boost our spirits to continue to give them energy charge and also to introduce RedBull to them as an all-time energy drink!

Everyone they met was happy to have them giving them the energy boost when they most needed it! Just look at how hard the staff work to make sure the event goes well, and how many of them ended up looking so exhausted. Plus the heat, the 3-day event was surely going to get them awfully busted in the end…….. But fear not! The forever energetic and friendly Mobile Energizers are on the run! **ehh.. perasan..!**

Being at the event grounds for 2 days made Charlotte turn into a fully cooked prawn and it was really tiring when the event was along the coastal road and such a big place to cover within 2 consecutive days. However, she mention that she feel happy when she was working. The great satisfaction of this job is to bring energy to the people that needed it, and also to bring laughter to them when they were too tired to move on with their work later on. Charlotte & Gwen really hoped to boost and cheer the staffs’ day up, and they know they did it! Everyone did it! *Whoots!!~*

The 2^nd event that we went to was The Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super Series Master Final was recently held at Likas Sports Complex, Sabah from 18-21 December 2008. Badminton players from all over the world came together to compete against each other to win the super series final trophy including our very own world’s number 1 Datuk Lee Chong Wei and Malaysia’s dynamic duo Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong.

For 3 days, the ME team has been actively involved promoting Red Bull at the event. We also manage to reach and inform all sorts of staffs ranging from vendors, organizer, players to media about our product and sample them a can of Red Bull. There were a lot of people who were interested in this product and some even wants Red Bull drinks to be available in their shop (Yay!)

During the final day of the tournament, we were thrilled to find out that we were allowed to enter the event arena and experienced the excitement of the game. The feeling of watching the tournament live in the stadium is totally different compare to watching it from TV. Supporters of team Malaysia never cease to support their favorites as the Malaysian team rose to the finals and achieved a stunning three major victories.

Hooray for Team Malaysia!!!
