A Skate event!!

We had to bring out Vitty today as NY was admitted into the hospital for some kidney failure! Get well soon...!!

Today we sampled a skate event at Shah Alam Stadium (which was actually outside & behind the stadium) But..being GPS ladies, we found our way eventually... ;)
It was a Super Cool skateboarding event, the same one where Tara won her Nike SB!! *Envy*
Okay, back to the event....we were greeted by friendly (& not to mention cute) organizers.

We managed to sample skaters from neighbouring countries like Thailand & Singapore. We also educated many skaters/students on the benefits of drinking RedBull for studying besides sports activities.



OH! & there were also supercool rock climbing activity where we saw a real-life spiderman in action!!

That left us wondering what the dude can climb if he had a RedBull......Petronas Twin Tower perhaps? ;p

Lucky no 6

Holla!

Guess what folks?!
Yesterday, Tara attended the Sambai Video premier at Barsonic, Zouk...
At the entrance, after registrating under the guest list, lucky draw numbers were handed out.



My number was 6!....soooo after the end of the video demo, they started calling out lucky draw numbers...at 1st they were just giving out the skate demo DVDs, next it was limited shirts...

So when my number was called out i was quite surprised & practically had to squeeze through the crowd to get to the stage (me being petite in size & all)...imagine my surprise when this time round they were actually giving out shoes!! LOLX...what luck! & i was the 1st to receive it as well....cool!!

Milo & Julie @ Central Park, Queensbay

Yo people, Red Bull in the house!!

Last week, Red Bull Mobile Energizer Team was presented at Central Park, Queensbay to support BMX Flatland & Inline Shalom Freestyle Battle. Orgainzed by Penang Extreme Games Association with sponsor from Showroom, Skateline, Roller Sports World and RED BULL of course. Mobile Energizers on duty ~ Ms. Sexy Milo and Julie..The event started off from 1800 until 2130. Riders and inliners were charged up with RED BULL 25% Less Sugar before, during and after the game ~ allowing them to focus and ensure faster reaction times. BMX riders came from as far as Sungai Petani and Alor Star. There were street dance performance by famous Ultimaxx B-boys too. RED BULL energy drink were highly on demand that night as our pretty and friendly Mobile Energizer walked around the skating rink to energize the judges, riders and skaters.

Malaysian Amateur Open Golf Championship

Hi guys, greetings from ME Kuching again!!
Ya, we stopped sampling for some time now, but we're always available to go sampling @ suitable events, such as sports!! **

Anyway ....

Ok, ME girls were out sampling last week at the 107th Malaysian Amateur Open Golf Championship held at KGS from 21st to 24th May 2009.

The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) has given Sarawak the blessing to host the Malaysian Amateur Open Championship for the first time!! our glory .... for your info, this event awards World Amateur Golf Ranking Points to golfers, So Cool!!

This is also the first time the women's category is included in this prestigious championship. Fifteen slots are given for the men's category, while 11 slots are given for women's category.

Golfers from many different countries took part in this championship, including Brunei, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, India, China, Thailand, Myanmar and etc. Top Amateurs, among them Rashid Khan (India) & Koh Deng Shan (S'pore) participated as well .....

There were a lot of "good looking" amateur golfers participating, no wonder Michelle and kendy (2 of our ME gals) wanted to be on duty so many days. wahaha =)

give chances for the rest as well, girls!! hehe .... kidding

Dian....tripped!

Hello!
Dian & yun yee on duty today!



Our day was a blast! We sampled the sepak takraw players at Komplex Sukan MSN at Tmn Keramat. Unfortunately it wasn't a good day for Dian... :( Apparently, she tripped when coming out from her car before our shift started! Oh no!

Look at the bruises on her knee...!


But thanks to christabel...it was patched up straight away...

ummm...Bel's PBSM skills...haha..THX BEL!


Anyways, we reached there about 2PM and the event only starts at 4 PM....so we took the opportunity to sample a bunch of people training their archery skills while waiting..hehe


Sharp at 4 PM, all the players were gathered in the hall..there were 3 Malaysian Teams & one team that stood out was the all girls team..woohoo girl power!

&...guess what?! The girls team won the match over the guys! Hooray!!
That just shows girls can do what guys do...whatsmore we do it better! Haha..no offense to the guys yea..hehe

After all that it was group picture time! Say..Bulleh!

dian and michelle on duty today..



This is Michelle's first time sampling an event(how exciting). The event was cultureXposed held by Taylors students at the Malaysian Tourism Centre (thank god it was indoor and not under the sun ).

As usual we set up New York, filled up the tank and off we go..

it took us about an hour to get there.. as we were rounding the parking lot to find parking we say this small lil chef running towards us. guess who it was...

jeng jeng jeng it was Hilary!!!


It was our lucky day cause we saved like RM25 on food haha.. first we good Pineapple Sorbet from one of the other sponsor (Pacific West) which cost about RM12

then we got fish and chips for lunch from Hilary and lastly we got ice cream from Turkey. haha what a wonderful day...

Anyhoo we manage to sample the touristsand locals that attended the event.

and while working we were entertain by the many different performance. there was poco poco by the indonesian students, some sort of dance by the students from Maldives, Bantus Capoeira and many more.

oh and last of all people actually do take the time to read the benefits of RedBull.

Borneo Downhill Challenge

Hi!

We were out sampling last weekend at the inaugural Borneo Downhill Challenge. Its an event that involve riders from all over including West Malaysia & Indonesia. We started our days pretty early at 7am as the riders would have to hike up the hill with their bicycle.

We were on the move sampling all the people involved..such as:




We sample right before the riders hike the hill as carrying such heavy load and hiking at the same time will surely drain their energy! we advise them the functions of Red Bull suitable for the extreme sports condition.



These riders opted to be driven up instead as they are among the 1st to ride down! we offer them Red Bull so that they can ride as fast as the wind..hehe.

Oh yeah! we also met a sponsored rider from Indonesia ! He managed to win 2nd place on the event! We was surprised to see us there kekeke.



overall we had lotsa fun! till next time!
