Red Bull Female Driver Search in Cat City

Hello! Anyone want to be the next Red Bull Rookie? :)

Joining Leona and Puteri to race in the Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race (MMER) in 2009.


The Red Bull Female Driver Search (RBFDS) was launched at Boulevard Mall, Kuching on Saturday, 25th October 2008 and we were there to keep everyone energized throughout the entire search.

Wait a minute... who are those two guys huh??? Hey, Brenda and Sharon...

Of course we must not be missed out, that's Kendy (middle), Vivian (left) and Michelle, yours truly :)

I also don't understand, somehow we just love to take photographs :P

We were at Boulevard Mall as early as 9am to help the Red Bull Marketing Team to setup for the road show that day. The search began with a press conference where the rookies and their trainer (Kenvin) were thrown with questions by the media! Wa! RTM was there too!

It was an eye opener for me as this is the first time I witnessed this type of activity. Working as an ME really give me so many opportunities of meeting people, seeing new things and this is definitely an invaluable experience for me! So no regrets in working as Red Bull Mobile Energizer!!! Kampate Red Bull!!!

The search went on from 12 noon to 8pm were the girls were required to register with us, go throught the indoor testing (colour blind & eye test) and outdoor testing as well. I did not know it was that complicated to be a racer :) I heard a total of 172 girls signed up for the program that day hoping to get an opportunity of a lifetime to fulfil their dreams to race. Good luck to all of you ladies!!!

We finished packing up around 830pm and I got home at around 9pm!!! It was a long day but I think my fellow ME colleagues and I had truly enjoyed this wonderful experience.

I’m Winnie, one of the M.E in Kota Kinabalu ~ *waves enthusiastically* and I shall be the blogger today !(the rest are busy studying for exam as next week we are having finals at UMS and we are so nervous about it..wish us luck~). Last Sunday, Borneo Safari 2008 was held in KK and we were there to energize the drivers and educate them about the functionality of RED BULL in driving. Leo (that is the name of our mini-cooper boyfriend, we love him as he is so cute *gush*) was given a very nice parking spot together with the participating cars and he looked so small XDD

The weather was not very good on that day as it was drizzling and very cold =( But we still managed to sample many people that were in need of energy.

We even took picture with the Japanese team ~ konnichiwaaa *bow*

It was a fun event indeed ~! We look forward for another exciting week of work before we leave for our semester holiday!

Greetings from Cat City!

Meow meow greetings from Cat City, capital of Sarawak "The Land of Hornbills"!

We are members of the Red Bull Mobile Energizer Team here. I am Vivian (left) and today my partner is Kendy (right). :P

Due to the difference timing in our course work, I am taking Marketing while Kendy in Hotel Management, we have not worked together for a while so we were both very excited about going out together today! Wuhu... psstt... we chatted all the way to our destination. :P

Today, we went to Kota Samarahan (which is about 30 minutes from the city) to sample people at driving. Our mission today is to educate consumers on Red Bull functionality for driving. I am not sure if you know but Red Bull really keeps our mind alert on the wheels especially if we are driving long distance or driving for a long period of time. Our targets today will be truck/trailer drivers and also those "uncles" who drive taxi, school bus, van "sewa" and etc.

Well, sampling was OK and everyone seems to be happy to see us :) glad to know that right!?! While waiting for the Red Bull to get chilled at 5pm, we took a short break and had ice cream :P

FYI I "chia" Kendy!!! After that we continued to sample the drivers.

Now this is the exciting part of the day, we were stopped by a POLICE CAR on the way back to office! OMG! The encik police asked: "You know apa salah moi? Kamu punya lampu di belakang hilang ah??" I was thinking... what type language is this?!? Like rojak, everything mixed together OMG OMG!!!

Just cannot believe this. Luckily... we managed sweet talk the encik and showed them our pity faces and then sampled him with Red Bull. Guess what? They let us go after that. PHew!! No "saman" Lucky lucky!!! There is just one bottle of RBB left so to bad for his partner, tidak cukup hahhaha!!! Maybe next time encik. (grin grin)

We informed our "lady boss" Miss Liew of our encounter upon arrival in office so she could fix the light at the back the folowing day. Just in case our colleagues get in trouble next time.

Phew... what a day but IT WAS FUN AND EXCITING!!!

Red Bull's Pet!

Just the other week, when we went into the HQ for our weekly briefing, we stumbled upon a surprise at the entrance of the office.

It was no other than our newly adopted pets of terrapins! Apparently, one of the girls almost tripped over one of them just outside the office. Here i am thinking, how on earth did they manage to get here under this sweltering heat.



Anyways, the terrapins were too cute not to be photographed! To top it all off, our bosses even managed to get them a roof over their heads. Not like they need one if you know what i mean! =P

Anyway when we went to the office today guess what we saw...


Baby's got a big brother!


Oooooh!

Baby's big brother has come back with his new baju (paint job)! So handsome and so 'gagah' rite? =P

We would have loved to hang around but the three of us (Tara, Jaz and Baby) had to say our goodbyes to him because we had work to do!

So today the first thing on our agenda was to feed Baby, but that took awhile cos Jaz kept getting it wrong!

Hehe I guess she didn't have her Red Bull for today yet =P

Finally we were on our way and we visited some of the factories in Bukit Raja.

One of the factories we visited actually had really cool glass doors on the front which reflected really well so of course we had to take some pictures! Hehe!





We also have to say a big thank you to the supervisor of one of the factories, who actually took us on a tour inside and actually introduced us to the workers...

We really felt like celebrities! Hehehe!

Unfortunately, someone else stole the spotlight from us *hmph*

The problem with working with someone as cute as Baby is that people are usually more interested in Baby than us! ='(

It's okay la, we still love our Baby!

But seriously though, as soon as they see him, EVERYBODY wants to take a picture with him!


It's okay, we can still jump in the picture!

By that time, we had to head off back to the office already, so it's ta-ta for now!
